Winter Wonderland in Paris

I’ve been hoping and looking forward to some snow in Paris and I finally got it!!! About a week ago it snowed in Paris....a lot! Enough that the snow stuck to the ground to create a bit of a winter wonderland here. And we absolutely loved it!!!

From talking to my colleagues, it sounds like it’s super rare to see the type of snow we saw (which lasted 3 days and of course has since melted). It started on a Friday evening and by Sunday, the city had a nice blanket of white.

Nate and I took a little walk around our neighborhood and down to Notre Dame and the river just to be out in it and enjoy Paris covered in snow. It was really quite beautiful!! I’m thinking that was probably our only snow for this season, at least to this degree, but I'll take it!! Paris est magnifique dans la neige!!!
